Community service

Giving back, beyond the clinic.

Medicine is a vocation that extends past the exam room. Dr. Rizvi chairs free health fairs across the Dallas area, partners with city leadership in Plano, Carrollton, and Richardson, and volunteers wound-care services abroad where surgical access is scarce.

Richardson Health & Wellness Fair

Dr. Rizvi chaired the April 4, 2026 community health and wellness fair in Richardson, attended and appreciated by the Mayor of Richardson, Amir Omar, and Council Member Shamsul Arefin.

For many neighbors, especially those without insurance, the fair was the first time in years they sat down with a clinician for a real screening. Free screenings, vision and dental care, dietitian consults, mammogram vouchers, and children's safety helmets were all on the table.

In partnership with Texas A&M College of Dentistry and the Texas Medical Association.

Plano Free Health Fair, attended and honored by the Mayor of Plano, Mr. John B. Muns, where Dr. Rizvi offered screenings and wound-care guidance to neighbors across the city on October 11, 2025.

It is a sustained civic relationship, not a one-off photo opportunity, and it helps the event reach further into the community.

Carrollton Free Health Fair

Mayor of Carrollton Steve Babick and his wife Ms. Peggy honored and appreciated Dr. Rizvi as she volunteered and helped organize the Carrollton Free Health Fair on May 16, 2026.

Volunteer service

Wound Care, Sent Abroad

Dr. Rizvi travels to a war-affected region to volunteer wound-care services for civilians without access to surgical or specialty care. Working alongside local physicians at a regional burn and wound center, she treats patients, teaches modern wound-management techniques, and helps strengthen the standard of care that stays behind after she leaves.

It is the same conviction the day-to-day clinic in Plano runs on, expressed internationally: real care, for whoever shows up.
